Last night, I met with 5 of our Haymarket people to start a journey that I hope will impact us for days, weeks, months and years to come.

One thing churches don't do well is coach people to be successful in ministry and in life. We will teach classes on discipleship and how to make our lives better but we rarely work to help people every step of the way from that class. It ends up being more about the paper than about the actions.

So our journey begins here at Haymarket with coaching. This first group is what I would call the Guinea Pig group. We are going to work on, test, try and invent this coaching world for us. My prayer is that in the next 6 months, we will be on the road to making a difference in the lives of many people in many ways!
